Brooklodge Documentary Wedding Photography
Liz and Ben planned and their wedding from Dubai and boy did they plan one hell of a party! The wedding all took place on New Years Eve in Brooklodge Macreddin Co Wicklow. Their guests, friends and family traveled from around the world to this incredible wedding day in Co Wicklow Ireland. I met Liz and Ben on one of their trips home and The Portrait Room was delighted to be booked to provide documentary wedding photography and cinematography for their wedding in Brooklodge. Chris and I also got to stay late past midnight for this wedding to make sure to capture the entire party in full swing! We absolutely loved working with Liz and Ben and their wedding party… they were all so much fun. They did not want to waste time taking too many wedding style photos they wanted The Portrait Room to really be photojournalistic and documentary in our style. To capture candid and reportage moments of their wedding that showed everyone enjoying themselves and having fun. As always for weddings in Brooklodge it had the best wedding suppliers in Ireland on hand for Liz and Ben.

Druids Glen Documentary Wedding Photography
The Druids Glen Resort in Co Wicklow was the wedding venue for Alice and Patrick and their February 2020 Irish wedding. The morning started in Patrick’s house with the lads just chilling with some beers. Patrick’s only request for the entire day was to get some photos taken at the Golf Shop in Druids Glen where he had worked. Then it was on to do some documentary wedding photography of Alice getting ready in the hotel itself. Hair was being done by Lou Merryweather and make up by Lisa Shannon …. two of the best…. and the girls looked incredible.
The Merrion Hotel Dublin wedding photography
This year has brought so many unexpected things. But it is the little things that will live with me long after 2020 is gone. For example this beautiful intimate wedding at The Merrion Hotel in Dublin, Ireland. Katie and Michael originally planned for a slightly larger wedding. But when it came down to the logistics of it all and with Katie’s family in the UJ a decision was made to make this the most intimate of weddings. Kate and Michael chose to just have their two witness, harpist and celebrant for their wedding in The Merrion Hotel.
summerhill house wicklow wedding photography
You really cannot beat an August wedding in Dublin and Wicklow! Especially when the wedding is taking place in the Little Blue Church in Kilternan and the Summerhill House Hotel in Enniskerry Co Wicklow. Ruth and David were looking for relaxed documentary style wedding photography and especially photos that would feature the Little Blue Church. The morning could not have gone better with the excitement hitting fever pitched levels when it seemed the entire town of Bray turned up outside Ruth’s house including some bagpipes to see her off to the church in Kilternan.
