These are the questions people ask us the most. You may feel free to ask us anything.

Q: Who is on your team?

A. We are a team of three photographers and two videographers as well two assistants; Roger, Hannah, Chris, Bill, Paddy, Paolo and Cathal. With over 30 years of wedding experience between us, we never tire of capturing the love and joy of a wedding day!

Q. Are you insured?

A. Absolutely! RK Media Ltd trading as The Portrait Room is fully insured and tax compliant. We are also licensed, insured and experienced drone operators. We bring all the high-quality professional equipment we need to your wedding with plenty of back-ups.

Q. is it best for us to meet?

A. It’s all up to you. Many of the couples we work with prefer to meet on Zoom, and if you would like to meet in person we would welcome you for coffee or a pint in Wicklow.

Q. Will WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

A. There are a couple scenarios where having a second photographer in important. If the two of you are making preparations in places more than 10 minutes apart, one photographer will not be able to cover the story of your entire wedding party. And, if you’re wedding has more than 150 guests it will be difficult to capture all of your friends. For most of our weddings we do operate alone, however we always love the opportunity to work as a team.

Q. How do we secure our wedding date?

A. Fill out our contact form and we’ll get back to you with 48 business hours with all the information you need to move forward. Then, let us know you want us as your wedding photographers, and we’ll send you a contract for your review and an invoice for our booking fee of €600. Once it is received your date will be fully reserved.

It is common for our wedding clients to book us as far as two years in advance of their date. We hope you will contact us as soon as you’re ready.
